No-Go Gage

Design size: equal to the maximum limit size of the workpiece (for holes, no-go gauge size = maximum limit diameter; for shafts, no-go gauge size = minimum limit diameter).

Detection logic: If the no-go gauge cannot pass through the measured part of the workpiece, it means that the workpiece size is not greater than the maximum limit size (the hole is not big enough, the shaft is not small enough).

 

Principle:
 

The hexalobular internal driving feature shall allow the go gauge to enter freely to the penetration depth,t, as specified in the relevant product standards. The no go gauges shall not enter the hexalobular internal driving feature to a depth greater than the fallaway allowance specified
